CanExport SMEs

Heads up! This post is now 2 years old, and the content may not be current information.

Businesses eager to break into new global markets should consider CanExport SMEs, a federal program designed to help develop export opportunities for products and services in international markets.

Small and medium size enterprises (SMEs) often face hurdles in understanding destination markets. By way of grants and contributions, CanExport SMEs assists Canadian companies in preparing for and establishing a presence in global markets where they currently have little or no sales.

CanExport SMEs now funds eligible costs for up to $50,000 in funding per project. Funding provides support for export marketing or international expansion activities. The program supports exporters in improving sales and brand exposure through market research, trade shows, and marketing activities. Funding can also be used for expert legal and business advice, intellectual property protection, search engine optimization and translation, adapting, or creating marketing material.

For more information, and to find out if you may qualify for these benefits, call Jason Adams, 877-753-2678, or email Jason jason@sjeconsulting.com
